The ATF Dingo is an armored military vehicle produced by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann and based on a Unimog chassis. It is designed to resist landmines, rifle fire, artillery fragments and the nuclear threat of weapons of mass destruction. ATF stands for Allschutz-Transport-Fahrzeug, which in German means “fully protected transport vehicle”. “Dingo” comes from the wild dog of the same name.

The ATF Dingo 2 is an improved version of the Dingo, produced from 2000. It is built on a Unimog U5000 chassis, offers better protection and a greater payload. There are three versions. A short version, a long version, and the GFF version, offering greater internal volume.

The Dingo's standard armament is a 7.62mm machine gun turret. It can be replaced by a 12.7 mm machine gun or by an HK GMG automatic grenade launcher.
