CVR(T) Family, Part 1
Reference :
C1971-01TL
Full title : CVR(T) Family, Part 1: Scorpion, Scimitar, Striker, Trainer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Belgian Army were the largest export customer for the British CVR(T) family of light armoured vehicles.
These Model Foto Focus takes a thorough look around these little-documented but fascinating machines. For the modeller, these are the ultimate walkaround for an accurate model. For the historian and enthusiast, they provide a detailed insight into the design and operation of these vehicles.
In Part 1 of this study, we look at the turreted versions, Scorpion and Scimitar (including the unique driver trainer exclusively used by Belgium), and also Striker, the first of the ‘long-hulled’ CVR(T)s.
In Part 2, we will look at the other non-turreted members of the CVR(T) family.
The British and the Belgian CVR(T) families had a lot in common, especially in their early days. These books will therefore, also be of great interest to British CVR(T) enthusiasts.
