The LMV Lince light multi-role vehicle, produced by the Italian manufacturer Iveco, has been developed to have all the main features required for a latest generation light armoured vehicle. The independent front and rear suspension system is able to guarantee excellent performance on all types of terrain and in all operating conditions. The design of the Lince is able to provide a good level of protection against small arms fire. The chassis structure, armoured plates and protective cell have been designed to deflect and absorb the blast from mines and explosions caused by more powerful weapons. The Lince is ideal as an infantry mobility vehicle and is capable of performing reconnaissance and scouting duties. In addition, it has been developed to have good versatility and can be equipped with several upgrades. It is mainly adopted by the Italian army but, thanks to its characteristics, it is a good commercial success.
