The true legend of the skies, the American Mustang P-51D fighter was reproduced using 150 COBI construction blocks. We decided on a completely new scale of 1:48 for World War II fighters. Now you can easily build an escort for your huge COBI bombers!
The set includes only high-quality prints recreating the historical painting of the aircraft.
The North American P-51 Mustang was an American single-engine fighter during World War II. It was produced at North American Aviation plants in the USA and was successfully used by the US Air Force and its allies during World War II and the Korean War.
The very successful design from 1940 meant that the plane was continually improved upon until 1986! During those 46 years, approximately 15 to 16 thousand were produced. Currently many of these machines are in private collections. To this day, Mustangs are used in demonstration flights and sports competitions.
