Le 3 avril 1944, M.A.N. a annoncé qu'il avait terminé avec succès les essais de production du nouveau châssis Ausf.G. Le M.A.N. a construit environ 1143 chars Panther Ausf.G entre mars 1944 et avril 1945. Entre juillet 1944 et mars 1945, M.N.H. a construit 806 chars Panther Ausf.G.

Daimler-Benz a terminé 1004 chars Panther Ausf.G entre mai 1944 et avril 1945. Il y avait quelques différences mineures entre les chars construits en usine. M.N.H. a installé des patins Gleitschuh en acier moulé au lieu d'un rouleau de retour en caoutchouc derrière le pignon d'entraînement de la chenille avant. Les deux autres usines ont continué à monter des rouleaux de retour à jante en caoutchouc.
