Titre complet : Panzer Leader
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guderian was taken prisoner by the Americans on 10 May 1945 and released on 17 June 1948, despite protests from the Soviet and Polish governments. At the Nuremberg Trials, he was not found guilty of war crimes, as his actions were deemed consistent with those of a professional soldier. Guderian was the first of the great German military leaders to publish his memoirs, Panzer Leader. In his memoirs, Guderian refrains from any point of view other than military and does not mention any of the abuses he may have witnessed. His text is one of the main writings behind the myth of a ‘clean’ Wehrmacht.
